This guideline handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just ahead of Thotar provides a taming Rod for a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a series of 3 taming rods, each one differs and allows you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.
